Today News Motorway Update Issued as Heavy Fog Disrupts Traffic Across Punjab

The Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) has issued an important motorway update after dense fog reduced visibility to dangerous levels in several areas of Punjab. The advisory was released early morning to ensure public safety and prevent accidents during low-visibility conditions.

According to officials, drivers are advised to delay unnecessary travel and strictly follow traffic instructions until weather conditions improve.

M2 Motorway Closure Update

The M2 motorway has been closed for traffic from Lahore to Islamabad due to extremely poor visibility caused by fog. Authorities stated that visibility levels dropped below safe driving limits, making travel hazardous.

M3 Motorway Closure Update

The M3 motorway has been shut from Lahore to Abdul Hakeem as fog continues to blanket the region. Traffic flow has been suspended temporarily to avoid collisions and pile-ups.

M11 Motorway Closure Update

The M11 motorway has also been closed from Lahore to Sialkot after thick fog significantly reduced visibility. Commuters have been advised to use alternative routes only if absolutely necessary.
